At Coastal Alabama, every student is assigned to a professional staff Academic Advisor. Through the academic advising process, advisors help their student get the most out of their college experience by helping students match the College's resources with student needs and goals. This includes preparing for registration, resolving academic problems, and offering academic/educational advice. Academic advisors should also be able to identify and assist at-risk students and make appropriate referrals when necessary.
